ROSE GERANIUM HYDROSOL / Pelargonium graveolens plant water

What is a hydrosol: This is one of two products, resulting from the distillation of aromatic or medicinal plants. The essential oil is the other one. Like the concentrated essential oil, the plant water holds the therapeutic propersties and aromatic profile of the plant in question. Such aromatic waters are used in skincare, aromatherapy, perfumery and more.

Our Rose geranium hydrosol is produced by steam distillation in a copper alembic still. A clear, aromatic liquid. Distilled and packed by us in Pyrga, Cyprus, in February of 2024.

Aroma: A rich, luscious, floral, sweet fragrance with that wonderful roselike afternote. Smells remarkably similar to the essential oil.

Use: In aromatherapy, perfumery, cosmetics and around the household. As a hair growth stimulant. As aura and space spray.

Skin: dry, hydrating, clear complexion 
  
Properties: The favorite all-around skin-care water for everyone from the very young to the very old. Balancing and adaptogenic for oily, dry, acneic, and sensitive skin. On its own or in combination with other hydrosols it makes a magnificent addition to every kind of aesthetic product and treatment for face and body. Use it neat as a makeup remover. To repair the effects of the city environment, spray geranium directly on top of makeup throughout the day to refresh and rehydrate. Geranium hydrosol is a humectant, attracting moisture to and holding it in the skin, and may have microcluster properties similar to those of rock rose. Combine it with raw honey and use as a treatment for wind-damaged and overly dry skin or after a clay mask to give youthful dew to the face."

How to use: Apply on freshly cleaned skin before moisturising or after shaving to calm the skin down and relieve it from redness. Mist anytime you feel the need to refresh your skin and surroundings / Apply liberally on hair roots and lenghts after washing or on dry hair. Use anytime you wish, as often as you wish, to promote hair growth and strenght.
