PYRGA is a Mediterranean fougere, inspired by the rural landscape surrounding the village of Pyrga in Cyprus. Created as part of the Olfactive Impressions of Cyprus series, this fragrance captures the island as it awakens in spring - when the land is green, resinous and quietly alive. 

Named after the historic village of Pyrga, this perfume reflects the meeting point of cultivated land and wild nature, where citrus groves, herbs and forest edges coexist. 

An Olfactive Impression:

PYRGA opens with fresh green lightness - aromatic herbs and forest air warmed by early sun. The opening is crisp and uplifting, like stepping into shaded woodland after rain.

As the scent unfolds, it deepens into an earthy, balsamic heart. Resins, foliage, and subtle sweetness emerge, evoking walking paths lined with cypress and stone, the hum of insects, the stillness of inland Cyprus far from the coast. 

The drydown is soft, ambery, and grounding. There is a quiet warmth here- the scent of bark, earth, and sun-touched wood - lingering close to the skin, steady and reassuring.

Crafted from the Land

Cyprus is a mosaic of microclimates, and Pyrga sits at a point where forest, farmland, and village life intersect. PYRGA is composed using locally sourced botanicals gathered in spring, when aromatic herbs and resins are at their most vibrant. 

All ingredients are selected for their relationship to place and extracted using traditional perfume making methods. The perfume alcohol is a locally produced artisan vini alcohol, supporting small Cypriot producers. 

A Forest-Led Composition

PYRGA reflects Cyprus beyond the shoreline - the inland paths, shaded groves, and ancient trees that define the island's quieter landscapes. 

This is not a loud scent. It is contemplative, grounding and deeply connected to the eath - a fragrance for those, who seek calm, balance, and a sense of belonging to place.

Limited by Nature

PYRGA is produced in a strictly limited seasonal batch, determined by the spring harvest of local botanicals and the slow pace of natural extraction.

Only a small number of bottles were created. Once this edition sells out, it will not be recreated.

This is the first of a series of love letters, which are dedicated to different areas of biodeversity on the island, at different altititudes. We begin with exploring Pyrga at 270 m. of altitude. Then, we move on to the biggest mountain range here, Troodos, and after - to the seacoast, with Paralia. All three altitudes will offer fascinsting and memorable botanincal aromas.
