PARALIA in oil form captures the seacoast of Cyprus in a more intimate, skin-bound expression. Inspired by the word παραλία — beach — this botanical perfume oil evokes salt-touched air, sunlit florals, and warm earth beneath bare feet.

If the Eau de Parfum diffuses like coastal breeze

and the Solid Balm melts like sun-warmed skin,

the Roll-On Oil glows quietly against the pulse.

An Olfactive Impression

The opening is luminous and immediate — bright bergamot and citrus zest rising like morning light over the Cyprus riviera. A subtle green thread of cypress adds structure, echoing trees standing along the coastline.

As the oil settles into the skin, the floral heart unfolds slowly. Cypriot jasmine leads — radiant, sensual, unmistakable. Plumeria softens the composition, adding creamy warmth reminiscent of sunlit petals drifting on warm air.

The drydown reveals the soul of a classic Chypre: ambery rockrose, soft mossy earth, and a gentle leathery warmth that lingers close. In oil form, this base feels smoother, more intimate — like the memory of salt on skin long after sunset.

Botanical Craft & Origin

As with all Halkos creations, PARALIA is composed exclusively of botanical extracts — essential oils, absolutes, tinctures — crafted using traditional methods of distillation, maceration, and enfleurage.

The jasmine heart is created using the ancient technique of enfleurage, capturing delicate blossoms at their most fragrant during the heat of the Cyprus summer.

Locally sourced ingredients are used wherever possible, including artisan vini alcohol for the Eau de Parfum and regional botanicals that reflect the island’s biodiversity.

Each batch of the oil is blended and filled by hand in limited seasonal quantities.

A Coastal Chypre in Oil Form

The roll-on format allows the fragrance to evolve more slowly than the spray. Citrus sparkles softly. Florals bloom gradually. The ambery-earthy base becomes silkier, warmer, more personal.

It does not project loudly.

It radiates gently.

PARALIA Roll-On is produced in small seasonal batches, determined by flower harvests and extraction yields.

Only a limited number of bottles were filled.

Once sold out, this coastal edition will not be recreated.

Application

Apply to pulse points and allow body warmth to release the coastal aromatics gradually. Can also be applied lightly to hair ends.
