NEROLI HYDROSOL / Bitter orange blossoms plant water

What is a hydrosol: This is one of two products, resulting from the distillation of aromatic or medicinal plants. The essential oil is the other one. Like the concentrated essential oil, the plant water holds the therapeutic propersties and aromatic profile of the plant in question. Such aromatic waters are used in skincare, aromatherapy, perfumery and more.

Our Neroli hydrosol was steam distilled in a copper alembic still. The result is one of the most popular, loved and used ever since antiquity plant waters - the Neroli hydrosol. A clear, aromatic liquid. Produced and packed by us in Pyrga, Cyprus, in April 2024.

Aroma: sweet, floral, delicate, fruity, sensual 

Use: In aromatherapy, perfumery, cosmetics and around the household. As a face mist, aura and space spray.
 
Properties: Antibacterial, antiinflammatory, antiviral, decongestant, antidepressive, digestive.

Skin: sensitive, oily
"Neroli is a wonderful treatment for delicate, sensitive skin and for oily skin, because it is so astringent. Avoid use on very dry skin or use only 20 percent in combination with lavender, rose, and/or geranium. A superb toner on its own or combined with rock rose, it clears acne and irritations. Use it in face masks with clay and honey for the ultimate in luxury. Wear it as a natural perfume that won’t aggravate the scent sensitive."

Nervous system:
"Neroli is a major antistress and calming agent, and it is mildly sedative to the central nervous system without causing sleepiness. It stops caffeine jitters and the effects of overindulgence rapidly, although the mechanism is undetermined. This is the choice for hysterics in children, babies, and even adults and is a wonderful treatment for sudden shock."

How to use: Apply on freshly cleaned skin before moisturising or after shaving to calm the skin down and relieve it from redness. Mist anytime you feel the need to refresh your skin and surroundings.
